Not only do I do hair & nails...BUT I DO MAKEUP TOO! Crazy right?

I love doing makeup. Its just another way to express my creative side. Makeup is more than just painting some colors on a face. Its about precision, face shape, eye shape, bone structure, color matching, blending, etc. Makeup is an art. Theres no right or wrong way to do it. Makeup is true creativity and its an awesome way to get your name out there by providing makeup services in this industry.

I get a lot of emails and questions about the products and name brands I use to do makeup on myself and my clients. I use a lot of different brands and a lot of different products. I like to try everyones stuff because in the "Beauty Business" you NEVER stop learning and discovering. I love trying different brands and labels to see what works best for everyone. Hint: EVERYONES DIFFERENT! Everyone has their own style, prefference, skin type...the list goes on.

So, its not about WHAT you use, its HOW you use it.

I have a few favorite brands that i use a majority of the time that Ive found work universal wonders for my clients and myself:

1)Urban Decay Naked Palettes 1, 2 &3

2)Ulta Brand Matte foundations

3) Nyx Cosmetics (anything from their entire line is fantastic)

4)BHCosmetics (anything from their entire line is also fantastic)

5) Milani Matte Lipsticks

6) Forever 21 Smokey & Nude Eyeshadow Palettes

7)Essence Bronzer for Brunettes & Bronzer for Blondes

The list continues LOL, but those are a few brands and products that really stick out in my brain because they work wonders for an affordable price.

Im always told "OMG your makeup looks great! I could never do my makeup like that, I dont have any MAC, NARS, or "Good Makeup". And thats where i stop them...like i said, its not about WHAT you use...its HOW you use it. To be 100% honest, everything I learned about makeup, and how to do it....all from watching different youtube videos and tutorials, then practice makes perfect. Thats the best advise I can give to anyone who wants to do makeup or learn to do their own. Youtube tutorials and practice, practice, practice!
