This past year has been such a hit for every kind of Ombré!
There are many techniques to perform an ombre hair color creation.
There is back-combing techniques, dropping techniques, balyage techniques and so many more.
In these photots, i particularly chose the balyage technique. Balyage is creative hand painting hair color. There is no set guideline and precise way to do it like highlighting using the state board technique. It is a technique where creativity comes into play. In techniques like this, youre not looking for perfection, youre looking for balance....and withblance, comes perfection;)
When you look at the sky, you dont see a perfect straight level line of blue and every cloud is not perfectly alined a certain distance appart and shaped exactly the same. Nature isnt perfect, and neither is creativity, especially when it comes to hair color. You want it to naurally flow, and come together as a whole. My boss at The Look Spa Salon on Long Island, Doreen, explained balyage to me just like that and ive never been given such a valid and important explanation of something. She is not only an increadable hair dresser, but an increadable teacher. Shes absolutely a star in this industry and anything anyone can learn from her, is a gift. Cutting, coloring, extensions...you name it! She knows the best way to do it all!
Taking what ive learned from my boss, and putting it into my Ombrés...this is what Ive created!
